MSG91 SMS Plugin Configuration
Follow the steps below to configure the MSG91 SMS plugin and enable SMS notifications.
Step 1: Sign In to the MSG91 Dashboard
Log in to your MSG91 account.
From the top navigation bar, click Authkey.
You can also access it from the profile menu or from the bottom-left corner inside any service dashboard.

Step 2: Create an Auth Key
Click Create New to generate a new Auth Key.

Step 3: Configure the Auth Key
Fill in the required information:
- Authkey Name: Enter a name for the Auth Key. Avoid using special characters.
- Use Case: Select where you are integrating MSG91 or create a new use case.
- Rule Selection: Choose a rule from the Rules dropdown. You can also create new rules under Settings -> Rules.
- IP Security: IP security is enabled by default. You can disable it if required. If enabled, whitelist your server IP address.
Click Create to generate the Auth Key.

Step 4: Configure the Auth Key in the Admin Panel
Copy the generated Auth Key.
Log in to your Bookin Admin Panel and navigate to:
Plugins -> MSG91 SMS -> Settings
Paste the Auth Key into the appropriate field.

Step 5: Open the SMS Dashboard
In your MSG91 account, open the SMS service.

Step 6: Create a Sender ID
From the left sidebar, open Sender ID and click Create Sender ID.

Step 7: Generate a Sender ID
Choose the Destination Country and complete the required information.
For India, enter your DLT Entity (PE) ID as required by TRAI.
For International destinations, complete the required verification process by following the instructions provided by MSG91.
After the Sender ID is approved, copy the generated Sender ID.

Step 8: Configure the Sender ID in the Admin Panel
Return to your Bookin Admin Panel.
Paste the following details into the plugin settings:
- Sender ID
- Admin Phone Number
Click Update to save the configuration.
